Call us at 366-5695 to register today! Our next WildQuest camp is scheduled to take place February 27 – March 2, from 9:00-3:00. Camp is for children ages 6-12 and extended care is available.

It’s a special time of year – chilly and sparkly white outside, and there are so many fun things to do! Winter camp is one of our favorite camp programs-it has a “personality” which is so different than the spring and summer camps because we see Prescott Farm from such a different perspective!

Depending on the weather, WildQuest Winter Camp will be a mix of:

*Animal tracking
*Snowshoeing adventures
*Sledding
*Making ice sculptures
*Going on a Winter Quest
*Maple sugaring
*Exploring the frozen pond
*Winter-themed craft projects
*Building a “quinzhee” snow shelter
*Playing “Weasels & Voles”

]]> http://prescottfarm.org/2011/10/12/yard-sale-hayrides-and-more/ What can I do at Prescott Farm this winter? Prescott Farm is a beautiful place year round. The winter is full of fun programs and events for people of all ages! Some of things you can do at Prescott Farm this winter are:

  •  Snowshoeing – we have over 3.5 miles of hiking trails that are open to the public from dawn till dusk. There is no cost to come to Prescott Farm and enjoy the trails or visit our Center.
  • WildQuest Holiday Camp & Winter Camp – camp is for children ages 6-12 and holiday camp takes place the last week of December and Winter camp takes place the last week of February – please check our website for more details!
  • Winter Fest! – our 2nd Annual Winter Fest event is scheduled for February 18th from 11:00-3:00. A fun family event that offers activities including; bonfire and s’mores, sledding, face painting, sleigh rides, and much more!
  • Full Moon Snowshoe Hikes (FMSH) - our next FMSH is February 7th from 7:00-8:00 – Reservations are required, so please check back with us for more details closer to the hikes!
  • Play Days – tuesdays and every other Saturday in January and February we will be open for play days! During our “play days” the program room located inside the Center will be decked out with puzzles, books, puppets, games and more! It’s open house style and you are welcome to bring snacks or lunch – hours are from 10:30-3:30.
