The meeting will feature\u00a0new updates\u00a0and first-look information\u00a0on\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/conservancy.org\/natureexperience\/\" title=\"John &amp; Carol Walter Nature Experience.\u00a0\">John &amp; Carol Walter Nature Experience.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting,&nbsp;Conservancy&nbsp;President &amp; CEO Rob Moher&nbsp;will share&nbsp;new information and conceptual renderings&nbsp;highlighting&nbsp;changes to the campus&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;transformation&nbsp;into&nbsp;the John &amp; Carol Walter Nature Experience,&nbsp;along with details on&nbsp;free&nbsp;monthly&nbsp;public programming&nbsp;that will be offered to the community&nbsp;during the Nature Center\u2019s&nbsp;expected closure from May through November 2026.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1240\" height=\"1199\" src=\"https:\/\/conservancy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/tail-out-logo-stacked-jcwne.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17372\" style=\"width:430px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/conservancy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/tail-out-logo-stacked-jcwne.png 1240w, https:\/\/conservancy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/tail-out-logo-stacked-jcwne-768x743.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1240px) 100vw, 1240px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting will also include an update on the Picayune Strand Restoration Project, highlighting the Conservancy\u2019s&nbsp;decades-long&nbsp;role in advancing one of the largest wetland restoration efforts in Florida.&nbsp;Additional&nbsp;agenda items include&nbsp;program updates and the&nbsp;election of&nbsp;new and returning&nbsp;board members.&nbsp;The Conservancy would also like to thank&nbsp;Stefan Bothe, Barry Frank, and Nick Penniman for their years of&nbsp;dedicated service on the Board.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Live Broadcast and Recording Availability<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure broad access, the Annual Member Meeting will be streamed live on the Conservancy\u2019s Facebook page at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ConservancySWF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.facebook.com\/ConservancySWF<\/a>&nbsp;beginning at the scheduled start time.
